We all arrived at this place by incidental fate,
and accidentally stayed,
for so long
a place where we were to only pass through
and move on along

But instead...
we stayed and strayed...

Tears after tears, we prayed
for a little more, rather early than late,
to fill our empty plates,
to feel somewhat at home,
but a strange face in a strange place

Years after years, we strayed
from place to place
but we never really got out of here
and headed nowhere

not a single chance

From time to time, we ran into each other
here and there, but we never really met
except one after another
pseudo face

A strange place, indeed, to stay
and that's all I have to say
