the rainbow road

The rainbow road

is a forever dream

that i have always dreamt

in the countless sleepless nights

I always wake up in hope to find it

down the hilly dirty road

over the next mountain ridge

and below

I am willing to go

as far as the Northern Pole

And I hum --

Ah, the rainbow road,

take me to the rainbow's row

and let the good times roll

before the days grow old...

and our souls are tolled...
